The kit is complete with quality components and thorough well written instructions. It took me about five hours to assemble. In my opinion the soldering of the SMT's was relatively easy, in comparison to mounting the nixie's on the circuit board. Spiraling all those thin wires threw the eyelets was most tedious, but I managed through persistence. I definitely recommend washing the red tint from the tubes. This is easily done by soaking them in hot (not boiling) water. The tint scrapes off by rubbing with your finger nail.
